Disappointing

Pros: none
Cons: everthing
My favorite thing about this product isNothing
Ten years ago, every makeup product I used was manufactured by Lancome. I loved, loved, loved this line. However, something has drastically changed and this foundation exemplifies those changes. First, the consistency is terrible. It is difficult to spread and looks blotchy. Skin appears dry and uneven. Second, the high alcohol content is damaging to skin and caused cystic acne. The quality of Lancome foundations are disappointing.

Good Foundation for Acne-Prone Skin
onNovember 8, 2010
This foundation is an excellent choice for acne-prone skin. It does not clog pores or cause breakouts. It is good foundation but requires that you apply moisturizer or primer underneath. Otherwise, it is difficult to apply evenly.

In the new Teint Idole Ultra, which color is the same as Buff 2 (w) since the colors are now different?

I would call a Lancome rep at a department store such as Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales. SInce cosmetic counter reps work with customers on daily basis, they will be able to suggest a color equivalent as well as offer additional insight. For example, they may suggest that you purchase a shade lighter if customers have noted that the color oxidizes.
