Visionnaire, genifique, or dreamtone and with which moisturizer?
I have been using advanced genifique am and pm followed by visionnaire day cream am and visionnaire nuit pm. My face has been breaking out somewhat more than normal. I have hyper pigmentation and uneven skin tone, and also occasionally use dreamtone. I just purchased visionnaire correcting serum. I have combination skin, can anyone tell me the best usage of the products I have? Maybe the summer is causing the breakouts, but I love the products and hope there is a better way to get results without breakouts. I have considered using visionnaire serum alone during the day? Please help!! Thank you
Well you are definitely on the right track with great products!
My first question is this: did you start using Genefique and Visionnaire cream at the same time before breaking out, or did that start after introducing one specific item? It is normal for a person to go through an "adjustment" period the first 10-14 days after starting new products.
You don't mention skincare, but may I suggest Creme Radiance cleanser and Tonique Douceur toner to start (based on you stating combo skin...see a consultant for better personalization.)
Genefique is a must-have serum to add smoothness and radiance to your skin. Visionnaire is my favorite product for tightening pores, improving the texture of skin, and evening out slight discolorations. And since the introduction of the entire family/moisturizers you get great results.
Sometimes the skin can react to too much product at once as well, initially. As a consultant, I would recommend applying your Genefique in the morning, and Visionnaire serum at night. These may be cocktaiked (combined) and applied together, but I would try it like this first to see if it helps with breakouts. I would recommend the normal Vionnaire Creme for daytime moisturizing.
Since I don't know if you are fair or not, Dreamtone 2 would most likely be ideal. #1 is for fair or redness-prone skin. However, Visionnaire as a line helps with some discolouration. Also, Dreamtone is slowly being discontinued. If you already have dreamtone, you may apply it either with Genefique or you Visionnaiee serum.
Try this, and if you continue to have breakout issues, visit your local Lancôme consultant for help.
