Sunkiss - perfect matte shade for lighter complexions
onMay 18, 2015
My favorite thing about this product isColor and texture
Couple of summers ago Lancome revamped their bronzing line and introduced some matte shades to the permanent line. Great idea since you can't find a lot of completely matte bronzers on the market. I have picked out Sunkiss 02 as a lighter matte shade. I do not have much experience with matte bronzers since I always pick with at least some shimmer. I wanted Sunkiss to use during winter months when I am pale as a ghost.
Finish is very nicely matte, not flat matte, and very natural looking. Color does not fade throughout the day and it does not oxidize. Texture is very soft, powder is finely milled and it blends nicely. Color is so light that it would work even on the lightest porcelain skin. You can't really overdo it. It also makes it perfect for someone who has never used bronzers before. I do not think that this would really show up on medium or dark skin tones (clearly), but for fair and light skin tones -warm, cool or neutral this would work very nicely.
As opposed to most of the Lancome products, or any French product this is fragrance free. Great if you are sensitive to fragrance in cosmetic products. Also it has SPF15 to provide at least some sun protection. It has Vitamin E which should moisturize skin.
My favorite thing about this product isHealthy glow
So far the best primer I've tried for normal and dry skin that needs that pick me up. It is very lightweight but gives nice boost of hydration while giving healthy radiant look - no it does not have shimmer in it so if you are afraid you will look shimmery or glittery no worries about that. it just has very subtle pigment in it that gives glow of a healthy radiant skin. absolutely love it and highly recommend it! it works wonders with both Teint miracle and Teint visionnaire. It smooths the skin and preps it without that heavy silicone feeling that most of the primers have. So happy to see this addition to Lancome line!
This is very thick and creamy lotion, I am not sure it can be called lotion at all. It is between butter and a lotion texture wise. Even though it has such a thick texture it's easy to spread. Does not absorb immediately so I like to use it before going to bed. It takes a while to absorb but leaves skin very soft and moisturized. Great choice for brutal Chicago winter when my skin is super dry and needs all the help possible. I like the packaging too. It's nice squeeze out tube and has 6.8 oz or 200ml. With daily use it would last about a month, not longer. But since it provides such a great moisture you can easily use it every other day or for example three times a week, even if your skin is very dry. For skin that's not so dry this could be more of a occasional "treatment". I also like to use it after hair removal on my legs, to soothe and moisturize irritated skin. Scent is soft but noticeable, hard to describe -light floral would be my best guess. Nothing that would interfere if you are wearing a fragrance. I like to stay away from lotions that mess up scent I am wearing. It has to be either very light and neutral or exactly the same lotion as the fragrance I am wearing. I like using Nutrix royal after Lancome exfoliant fraichelle since it does leave my skin slightly dry and has no residue. Then I have feeling that Nutrix royal can be absorbed the best. I wish Lancome would have even more body products. I would love to try their self tanners since I've heard some great things about them.
Yes this is simply the best eye makeup remover out there. Nothing else does not even come close. Extremely efficient even if you wear super heavy makeup, yet very gentle and great even for sensitive eyes. Absolutely love it.
I have tried many cleanser but Creme radiance beats them all! It has great texture, very silku and so little goes a long way. It foams up like no other which makes it perfect pair with Clarisonic. It removes everything very easily and leaves skin feeling clean but never dried out or tight. It is great choice for normal or combination/oily skin. It also does a great job leaving skin glowy, just that healthy skin glow. It does give radiance. HIghly recommended! Once you try it you will never go back to any other cleanser.
My favorite thing about this product isLightweight with good coverage
Bienfait is the best tinted moisturizer/Beauty balm I have tried. Coverage is medium to full even with one thin layer. So unexpected! Texture is creamy and moisturizing. Even if I do not put moisturizer under it still give me enough moisture and does not enhance any dry areas on my face. Application is very easy -I always use only my fingers. Blending is also no problem, it does not dry fast so there is enough time to blend it nicely. I never use any setting powder on top - I like glowy finish it gives. Also has SPF30 so makes it even more versatile, because you don't need to purchase another product for sun protection.
I HIGHLY recommend this product if you can find your shade and your skin is dry/normal and eventually combination -I think it would be too moisturizing for oily skin. Also if you want very good coverage , lightweight feel and SPF this would be great choice.
I have been using Visionnaire for almost a year and it's about time to share my thoughts with you. It is probably one of my best skincare investments so far. Why do I say that? It makes my skin incredibly smooth, silky and glowy. When I say glowy it's more of a instant thing - formula has slight of a silver/pinkish glow to it but no visible shimmer. Texture is very lightweight and absorbs immediately. I love applying it prior to makeup. It really creates perfect canvas for any kind of liquid or powder foundations, or tinted moisturizer (or whatever you like to use). Another thing that I noticed is that it keeps my acne under control. As soon as I stop using it I break out. Also one of the major things is that it lightens and smooths post acne scars I even had people commenting how my skin looks so much better and that my acne scars are much less visible. I always use it in the morning and then in the evening I use Genefique. I know Lancome is big on layering serums and they recommend first applying Genefique and then to follow with Visionnaire
My favorite thing about this product issilky texture
Silicone based primer that smooths lines, covers pores and makes skin soft as silk. Glides easily and sets fast. Really works wonders to prep the skin for the makeup. And the amount you need is so tiny you will not believe it.
Effacernes provides great coverage with very creamy texture that's easy to blend. Does not set into lines. If you have dark circles this will be your new best friend. Variety of colors makes it easy to find your perfect shade. Packaging is wonderful since you will never get more product out than you actually need. And the amount - 15 ml will last you forever! Great value for the money!
Exfoliant Fraichelle is a nice scrub that's mild enough for dry and sensitive skin yet effective enough to soften the skin and leave it refreshed. It is more of a shower scrub meaning it's a in between shower gel and a body scrub. It foams up more than I expected and it's not as thick or harsh as usually body scrubs are. So if you are looking for something in between these two or for a 2 in 1 product Exfoliant Fraichelle is a nice choice. First time I tried it I was actually worried that it won't be effective enough becase right out of the tube it feels and looks like there are no buffing grains at all. It has lightweight gel texture. Interesting thing is the more you rub it in it seems it has more and more buffing grains. Like they are suddenly there out of nowhere.
Tube is convenient to hold in hand and it's easy to squeeze the product out. I love using Lancome nutrix royal body lotion after this.
Why do you change the number and colors on your BB cream?
I really like the Bienfait Teinte BB cream in #2 Sand and I tried the Clair but it is too pink. Not the same color at all. What is your reasoning for changing colors and numbers on your product. Very disappointing. Do you have any left in stock that I could buy?
It depends what kind of sensitivity are you talking about? Dryness? Rosacea? Sensitivity to fragrance in product? and also it depends what are you looking from a powder do you need powder foundation or a touch up powder and what kind of finish are you looking for
I'm looking for a foundation that will give me a dewy finish. I am 43 and have gone through menopause due to a hysterectomy 18 years ago.I look older than I am and would like a foundation to give me a more youthful appearance. I always look dry with foundation
This will be perfect for you! It is hydrating but it sets to such a beautiful glowy/dewy finish. It makes skin look so healthy. It is literally like your second skin. My skin is also dry especially during winter time and this is the only foundation that doesn't enhance that dryness.
