In regard to the Le Stylo Waterproof Pencil- Has anyone had a problem with this pencil breaking off at any time?

Even though I always have a small point of the pencil extended for use,
I have had this pencil break twice (two different pencils).
When it breaks, a small "chunk" of the pencil breaks off.
I used the Le Crayon pencil for years, but since I now live in a tropical
climate, I decided to try this waterproof pencil.
I do like it and it does not smudge as much as the Le Crayon, but I have been frustrated with two things: mainly, it has broken off (loosing part of the product) and this pencil is much less actual product because of the useless (to me) tip on the opposite end. Can anyone give me their feedback about this?
