Must use Lancome Pencil Sharpener to Sharpen !!!!!!!!!
onJuly 12, 2013
My favorite thing about this product isHow natural it makes my brows look.
Okay so here is the deal. I tried this product in Belk and loved it. Brought one, used it, tried to sharpen it with a pencil sharpener I already had, and the thing kept breaking off - so I went back to Belk to return it. Working behind the counter was a new lady that appeared to be doing inventory or some sort with one of the normal makeup artist. The new lady came to assist me and asked if something was wrong with the product. I told her that it must be defective because every time I try to sharpen it, the brow pencil breaks which is a complete waste. She asked me if I was using the LANCOME SHARPENER. The answer to that question was "NO". She showed me how the LANCOME SHARPENER sharpens the pencil with no breakage. She said any other pencil sharpener that is not LANCOME, will just break the pencil. She also said the sharpener works with all LANCOME pencils - NOT just the brow pencil. Funny thing is that the other normal makeup artist didn't know this. The lady that helped me said she worked with LANCOME for over 15 years and doesn't know why makeup artist aren't given this information during training so that they can pass it on to customers. For the area I live in, the LANCOME sharpener was $6. Hope this helps with breakage issues.

I too would like to know if you have a sharpener for your eyebrow pencil. I have one but have not sharpened it yet and now I am afraid to.

Eyebrow pencil sharpener. I too have one of your eyebrow pencils and I really like it but with all the comments about not having a sharpener, I hesitate to buy another one. Please advise. Thank you.

The LE CRAYON POUDRE is a great product that must be sharpened ONLY with the LANCOME PENCIL SHARPENER. The Lancome pencil sharpener is especially designed for all Lancome pencil products that need sharpening. Any other brand pencil sharpener with cause the pencil point to break while sharpening. So, there is no need to be afraid of sharpening it, just make sure that you buy a Lancome Pencil Sharpener for a few bucks.
