Is this product suitable for acne prone skin?
I am fairly young but my acne and years of not protecting it has caused some fine lines and dark spots and well as a slight rough texture. My acne treatment includes a retinoid at night and bp cream in the morning as well as a sunscreen. So, my worry is if this product may clog pores or be to oily. But, also is only daytime wear only acceptable?
You can wear this day or night. If you are choosing between the two, I suggest day. It gives more immediate results than some of the other serums. At night, I use Vissionaire. I have acne prone skin (that is very dry in some parts and very oily in others). After I started using this and other Lancôme products, I noticed my acne started improving. Whenever I skip steps, my acne returns. Although, I cannot know for sure how it will work with the combination of items you are using to treat acne, I am guessing it will still help overall. I would suggest waiting until or searching for a gift with purchase. Lately, almost all of them include a Genifique option. You can buy something you know works for you while you sample the Genifique. If you like it, buy the full size later. As far as the dark spots go, I do not suggest Genifique. I was using Bright Expert, which was working great at first until it stopped. I am now trying DreamTone. Unfortunately, I had to buy the full price bottles of both without sampling them first, because I wanted to brighten the spots and could not find a sample of either anywhere. Good luck. If I remember, I can come back in three weeks to tell you how DreamTone is going. I've been using it less than a week, so it is too early to offer advice.
