My favorite thing about this product isHas everything you need to get started for the price of 2 brushes.
I had an issue with one of the brushes being rough it really was only one strand and one brush. Even then I use the brush constantly and if I angle it I don't feel it. I've grazed the rest against my skin and its like silk across my face. Its a great starter kit and has everything that you need. However I do suggest buying it from your local Macy's store at least at that point you can test the brushes right there and you don't have to worry about if they're gonna be rough on your skin. Also if you do have any issues with the brushes they are warrantied so you can have them replaced.

Are these full-size or travel size brushes?
They are full size but come in an awesome travel case to put both your brushes and make up in. There is a little zippered pouch not shown in the picture as well as an elastic pouch and flap to store your brushes.
